Q+A

I recorded this one early last week before I started to test the short form questions so this will be the last long-form Q+A episode for a while so I hope you enjoy it.

This was an off the cuff random Q+A after consuming way too much caffeine. I was supposed to be editing my new book but couldn’t concentrate on the laptop so I recorded a podcast instead.

Today’s questions were sent in through Instagram.

1)   What are your top supplements for health? 06:48

2)   Any tips for how to stop thinking about my ex? I have a new girl but can't stop thinking about my ex-girlfriend. 16:10

3)   Do you keep a training diary? If so what do you track? Sleep, weights, food etc. 23:39

4)   Can you give advice on how to decide what goals to focus on? 27:54

5)   Is it possible to gain 5kg of muscle in 6 months? 36:01

6)   Tips for asking out a girl you like at work? 39:46

7)   Should I give up fizzy diet drinks? (coke zero etc) 43:00

8)   How do you mentally deal with a long term injury that stops you training the way you love? 47:01

9)   If I take fat burning supplements, will I have to take them forever to keep the fat off? 52:01

I’m experimenting with some short form podcasts for the next week or two. These are in addition to the weekly and twice weekly interviews so be sure to let me know if you’re finding them helpful.

I do a 10 Question Q+A Monday-Friday on Instagram and I’ll be taking the questions from there.

This was one of these episodes that I was like “my god, we’ve gone way over an hour” – that’s how much I enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy it just as much.

This is an amazing episode. Ben speaks about how to improve your life, health, and overall fitness by making a few simple adjustments to your eating and sleep routines. I got so much from this one and even went back over it afterward with a notepad and pen. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed recording it.

Are you looking to Rewire Your Mindset so that you can hit any goal in your fitness, personal or work life? If yes, then this is the seminar for you.

During the full day event, you will learn about the concept of The Four Quadrants (Health, Wealth, Love and Fulfilment) and how rewiring your mindset is critical in making any change in your life.

Here are some of the areas we will be covering on the day.

Building Confidence: using the ‘confidence table’ to hit any goal and how to add legs to that table with small and simple steps.

Designing The ‘Perfect Day’: The days lead into weeks, weeks into months and months into years. When we get the perfect day right, the ‘compound effect’ starts to kick in and difficult things like eating well, training consistently and difficult conversations start to become much easier and automatic.

Goal Setting: There’s a foolproof system for hitting any goal by keeping the end in mind at all times. Once you learn it, you can apply it to all four quadrants.

Dealing with negative people: once you get clear on the action steps needed to improve your four quadrants, you will see how easy it easy to cut (physically or emotionally) from those who pull you backwards. You will also see how to design your inner circle of people who will help you on your journey.

Feeling the fear and doing it anyways: learn the techniques and strategies I used for overcoming my fear of failure, my fear of success and the fear of other peoples opinions.

Habits: tell me what you do every day and I’ll tell you where you’ll be in a year. You will leave the seminar knowing exactly what action steps you need to take in order to hit your end goal and how to stay on course when things get difficult.

Mental health: Use my daily discomfort techniques for overcoming environmental anxiety and depression.

Avoiding self-sabotage: Your biggest enemy lives between your two ears. When we identify why you self sabotage, you will finally be able to get out of your own way and hit any goal that you set for yourself.

If you feel frustrated, unconfident, unsatisfied or unfulfilled in any area of your life, then this seminar is not to be missed! Lets Rewire Your Mindset on the 20th of April 2019.

This is a one take ‘press record and talk’ episode about my experience running 230km through the Arctic circle.

I talk a little about my preparation for the challenge but this episode is heavy on the mindset side of things and focuses heavily on the mental tools I used to get to the finish line after tearing my Achilles 86km from the end.

This was physically the hardest thing I’ve done in my entire life and I recorded it in one go so I hope you enjoy it.
